Trama:

In un futuro "post apocalittico", causa un terremoto di grosse dimensioni in Giappone, Tokyo viene rasa al suolo e nasce una speranza... Atlas! Ovvero una struttura in via di espansione che si prefigge come obiettivo l'espansione, al fine di poter ospitare tutti i terremotati. Ovviamente, nel corso della storia si scoprirà perché ci mette così tanto tempo e nel frattempo la gente al di fuori della struttura deve vivere in condizioni a dir poco difficili, vista la scarsa quantità e qualità del servizio sanitario e del cibo a disposizione. Il tutto viene narrato in una cittadina chiamata Duomo, dove la Metal Age (un'organizzazione di ribelli che ruba alla Robin Hood ad Atlas per dare ai "poveri") è ben accetta e sostenuta da alcuni ma non da altri.
